The fees for electronic searches are listed below. Please note that CON29 and O products submitted to the local authority are subject to VAT at the standard rate of 20% from 31 March 2017. LLC1 requests are not subject to VAT.
Service Fees from 1 October 2022
Official Searches:
- LLC1 Official Certificate of Search: £22.50 (No VAT)
- Part 1 Con29R Enquiries (online): £105 + £21 VAT = £126
- LLC1 and Part 1 Con29R Enquiries: £127.50 + £21 VAT = £148.50
Optional Part 2 Enquiries:
- Part 2 Con29O (each optional enquiry except Q22): £10 + £2 VAT = £12
- Q22: £10 + £2 VAT = £12
- Each additional enquiry: £20 + £4 VAT = £24
Additional Properties:
- Additional parcel for LLC1 only: £4 (No VAT)
- Each additional parcel for Con29R only: £10 + £2 VAT = £12
- Each additional parcel for LLC1 and Con29R Enquiries: £14 + £2 VAT = £16
Personal Searches:
- Extract of Local Land Charges Register: £10 (No VAT)
- Each additional parcel: £1 (No VAT)

IBC will only answer optional enquiry Question 22 of Con29O if it is submitted with a full CON29 application. Individual Question 22 requests (without a full CON29 application) should be submitted directly to Suffolk County Council at land.charges@suffolk.gov.uk who hold this information.
