These accounts are managed by the Borough's Communications and Marketing team, on behalf of colleagues across the Council.

If you follow us, you can expect regular updates each day covering some or all of the following:

• Alerts about new content on our other digital channels, such as news, publications, videos on YouTube, events, publicity campaigns;
• Invitations to provide feedback on specific issues on which we are consulting;
• Information on upcoming events.

Availability

We update and monitor our accounts during office hours, Monday to Friday and occasionally outside these hours for weekend events.

@Replies and Direct Messages

We welcome feedback and ideas from all our followers, and endeavour to join the conversation where possible. However, we are not always able to reply individually to all of the messages we receive.

The Communications and Marketing team reads all replies and Direct Messages and ensures that any emerging themes or helpful suggestions are passed to the relevant officers.

We cannot engage on issues of party politics or answer questions which break the rules of our general comments policy.

We will follow the Responding to Social Media Messages protocol on escalating social media enquiries to line management and beyond.
