Data held includes members of the public, current, past and prospective employees, clients, customers, contractors, partners and suppliers.

The Data Protection Act gives you the right to see any data we hold on you (with a few exceptions) and to have it corrected if it is not accurate.

Ipswich Borough Council protects public funds by sharing information with relevant bodies to prevent and detect fraud, and participates in the Cabinet Office’s National Fraud Initiative for data matching.
