Fees and charges took effect on 1st December 2010.
The electoral services team can provide a certificate of residence, which confirms an elector's entry on the current register of electors.
Please note, you may only request a letter about yourself or on behalf of an elector for whom you hold power of attorney.
Fees
The letter costs £10 per elector.
Additional copies of the letter for the same elector will be charged at the standard copying rate of 10p per side of A4 in black and white. For example, three copies of a letter for one elector will be £10.20.
Payments can be made by debit or credit card. Telephone 01473 432000 to pay by this method.
Letters will only be dispatched upon receipt of payment. If payment has not been received within three months of the order, it will be assumed that the letter is no longer required.
Dispatch and collection
Letters will be posted out first class. Please note, letters can only be posted to the address where the elector is currently registered, or collected from Grafton House Reception with proof of I.D. (one photo document such as a passport or photo driver's license and one proof of address such as a utility bill).
