Tenants' Handbook

Information on looking after your home and managing your tenancy can be found in the Tenants' Handbook.

You can find out about the services we provide as your landlord and about your responsibilities as a tenant.

Local Standards

Local Standards - The Offer 2015/18 gives information about the standards agreed between Ipswich Borough Council as a landlord and its tenants on issues that matter on a local level. They are a way to tailor the services that Ipswich Borough Council provides based on what tenants want. The Offer is being reviewed this year for 2022 – 2025. If you would like to be involved in helping us review these standards, please email the Tenant Participation team tenant.participation@ipswich.gov.uk

Housing Services Annual Report 2020/21

The Council is required to provide information to tenants in the form of an Annual Report. You can view or download a copy of the Annual Report for 2020/21 here.

We are keen to ensure that tenants have a say in the information that they are provided with and how it is presented. We invite you to complete our short online survey to help us plan future reports, ensuring the information provided is useful and relevant.

Your Data Matters

Ipswich Borough Council holds personal information about you in connection with your tenancy. It is necessary for us to hold personal information about you, such as your contact details, in order to administer our responsibilities as your landlord. These details are kept securely and may be shared with other teams in the Council in relation to your tenancy, for example so we can carry out maintenance work required by law.

You can find out about this in the Maintenance & Contracts and Tenancy Services Privacy Notice.
