Any business or individual (aged at least 18) that wishes to conduct licensable activities on a premises are required to apply for a Premises Licence from Ipswich Borough Council. A premises is defined as any place, including vehicles, vessels and moveable structures.

If you wish to make an amendment to your current Premises Licence that affect any of the licensing objectives you will need to apply to Ipswich Borough Council.
If you wish to make an amendment to your current Premises Licence or Club Premises Certificate that does not adversely affect any of the licensing objectives you can apply to Ipswich Borough Council for a Minor Variation

Anyone interested in making a future application for a Premises Licence can obtain a Provisional Statement, which will give an indication of the likelihood of obtaining a Premises Licence.

Any person or organisation with a legal interest in a premises may give notice to Ipswich Borough Council of their interest, in order to be kept informed of any changes to the Licensing Register in respect of that premises.
