Ipswich Borough Council On-Street Parking Places Order 2025

Following a public consultation, the Council has now made a legal order to introduce new public paid for parking bays (‘pay and display’) in place on a number of existing limited waiting parking bays, unrestricted sections of road or where yellow lines currently exist on Constantine Road, Friars Bridge Road, Lower Brook Street, New Cardinal Street, Russell Road and Sir Alf Ramsey Way. The proposals on Sir Alf Ramsey Way include allowing Residents Parking Zone 4 permit holders to use the bays.

TRO Proposals - Lloyds Avenue, Tower Ramparts, Queen Street & Cecil Road, Ipswich

The Council is carrying out a public consultation on proposals to make two Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) covering the above named streets, together with a legal order regarding the taxi rank on Lloyds Avenue. Objections or representations to either of the TROs or the taxi rank proposal must be submitted in writing and received by 11 August 2025.
