Recycling

You are here

About your blue and brown bin collections, recycling centre locations, projects and campaigns.

There are several options available if you have unwanted items that are still in good condition.
The Ipswich Furniture Project collects furniture items which they pass on to low-income families for a nominal charge. They also collect redundant metal appliances, such as fridges and cookers, that they recycle for scrap metal.
Suffolk Cloth Nappies supports families to use reusable nappies through the provision of education and resources. They also have a library stocked with a variety of nappies available to hire, so you can try before you buy.
All flats are provided with blue recycling bins for recycling clean, dry items such as paper, cans, cardboard and rigid plastic food and drink containers.
