In accordance with Section 17 of the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013, every council in England and Wales must undertake and complete a compulsory review of all the polling districts and polling places in its area, within a 16-month period commencing from 1 October every five years. The last compulsory review in Ipswich took place in 2018-20 and a new review is currently taking place.
The Licensing Act 2003 requires each Licensing Authority to prepare a Statement of Licensing Policy that sets out the basis on which it will perform its functions.
This consultation is now closed. The Council is now conducting an 8 week public consultation to seek comments on the proposed additions, amendments and removals from the Local List (Buildings of Townscape Interest) SPD, between 06 October 2020 until 08 December 2020.
The Suffolk Coast European Sites Recreational Disturbance Avoidance and Mitigation Strategy Supplementary Planning Document (Suffolk Coast RAMS SPD) has been drafted as a key resource to assist developers and others to understand the requirements of the Habitats Regulations Assessment Recreational Disturbance Avoidance and Mitigation Strategy simplified to ‘the Strategy’ and its implementation.
