Submission of the Local Plan
Ipswich Borough Council submitted its Local Plan to the Secretary of State for examination on 14th December 2015.
The Local Plan comprises the Core Strategy and Policies development plan document review and the Site Allocations and Policies (Incorporating IP-One Area Action Plan) development plan document.

Please note the Matter 3 hearing session has been moved and will now be held at 10am on Wednesday 20th July 2016 after the Matter 11 hearing session. This updates the draft hearings programme.
- 28th June 2016 - Hearings commence and continue to 20th July 2016
- 24th June 2016 - Further written statements in answer to Matters 5 & 9
- 3rd June 2016 - Further written statements in answer to Matters 4a, 4b, 6, 7, 8, 10 & 11
- 27th May 2016 - The Council has produced two documents, updating ICD48, Ipswich Transport Model Assessment and a related document, Air Quality Assessment. These are available to view in the Core Document Library - Post Submission Documents
