Further grant support available for Ipswich businesses

Published4th October 2023

Small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ipswich can now get even more support from the New Anglia Growth Hub with the launch of a new grant scheme.

Grants of between £5,000 to £10,000 are now being made available to SMEs across Suffolk through the Growth Hub thanks to additional support from local councils.

The grants, which require businesses to match fund what they are applying for, are available on a first come first served basis to support businesses with their development, including marketing, web design or the purchase of new equipment.

Ipswich Borough Council support comes from money allocated from the Government under the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), with information about the Suffolk Business Grant Scheme and other grants available online at: Business grants, loans and other funding streams | Ipswich Borough Council

Councillor Neil MacDonald, Ipswich Borough Council Leader, says:

It is great that this funding has enabled further grants to be available to support the growth of small to medium sized businesses across Suffolk.

I encourage SMEs in Ipswich to contact the growth hub and find out more about grants and other business support available.”

SMEs can ask about the grants and get advice on how to expand and diversify by contacting the New Anglia Growth Hub on 0300 333 6536 or visiting www.newangliagrowthhub.co.uk/contact-us
