Providing excellent services to Ipswich Borough Council tenants, matters. At the Council we want to ensure that Tenants are provided with full information of how we perform and deliver Housing Services throughout the year.

It’s important that the services we provide align with your needs and we hope that our annual report for 2025 ensures we are fully transparent in the way we manage your homes and communities.

Ipswich Borough Council Housing Services Annual Report 2025

This report explains what Ipswich Borough Council did in 2025 as a landlord to look after council homes and support tenants.

We followed four main rules set by the Government. These rules say we must:

  1. Listen to tenants and be clear about what we do
  2. Keep homes safe and in good condition
  3. Make renting and applying for a home fair
  4. Help keep neighbourhoods safe and friendly

The report guides on our work in 2025 around:

  • Repaired and improved homes
  • New homes built
  • Support provided to tenants
  • The progress made in meeting the Regulator of Social Housing’s Consumer Standards
  • How we answered more calls and improved online services for tenants
  • Kept people safe and tackled anti-social behaviour (ASB)
  • Worked with tenants to involve and engage with them

What This Means for Tenants

  • Homes are safer, warmer and better maintained
  • It is easier to report repairs and get help
  • You can get support with money, moving, or problems with neighbours
  • Your views help improve the services you receive

You will find full details of our performance, spending, achievements and future commitments inside this Annual Report. This report, includes QR codes so you can access further information by using your own smart phone and scanning the QR code to find out more.
