Hairspray, the stunning West End show now touring the UK, opened at the Ipswich Regent last night to rave reviews.
The opening night performance wowed people from all over the county and beyond and showed once again that the theatre provides West End shows at Ipswich prices.
Fans of musical theatre are going to be spoilt for choice over the next few months as Sister Act, Cats, Annie and The Sound of Music come to the Regent. Hairspray set the standard for them to follow last night with everybody from the lead actors to the ensemble delivering a polished performance that had everybody on their feet.
