Bill Bailey at the Regent

Published2nd October 2017

Bill Bailey is bringing his new "Larks in Transit" show to the Regent Theatre in Ipswich next year.

Larks is a compendium of tales and the general shenanigans of 20 years as a travelling comedian and you can see “the brainiest comic of his generation” on two evenings – 4th and 5th June 2018.

With musical virtuosity, surreal tangents and trademark intelligence, Bill Bailey tackles politics, philosophy and the pursuit of happiness. He also fashions a symphony from a ringtone, tells the real story of Old McDonald and re-imagines the Stars and Stripes.

Brainiest comic? That accolade came from the Daily Telegraph – go along and see if you agree.

Tickets for the shows, which start at 8pm, cost £30.50 (including booking fee) and under-14s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
