Come and hear the Funky Voices

Published6th March 2013

Funky Voices will be performing at Ipswich Town Hall as part of the Access All Arts event on Sunday 17th March.

The award-winning Funky Voices was founded in 2007 by Sandra Colston to provide something fresh and new - a community choir singing modern music with no audition or experience needed. All ages 16-plus are welcome.

Sandra, the group's Musical Director, said: "Ipswich Access all Arts is right up our street as we appeal and cater for everyone. To date there are over 800 members, who all perform regularly within the community raising funds for worldwide and local charities.

"We have toured in Berlin, Paris and New York and have just recorded our fourth album. We focus on the choir creating a wall of sound, energy and passion, with all personalities shining through."

Funky Voices will be performing outside the Town Hall between noon and 1pm.
