Eviction notices have been served on a group of travellers occupying part of a car park in Ipswich.
The travellers arrived at West End Road car park last weekend and Ipswich Borough Council immediately began legal proceedings to recover possession.
The Council has applied to the County Court for a hearing, which will now take place on Wednesday (7th June).
A spokesman for the Council said: “We are doing everything we can to get possession of the full site but we do have to follow a set legal process.”
The car park remains open for the public.
