Gilbert show cancelled

Published17th March 2017

Singer Gilbert O'Sullivan has cancelled tomorrow night's show at Ipswich Corn Exchange because of illness.

Ticket-holders were being contacted today - the singer will come to Ipswich in September instead.

Gilbert, who rose to fame in the 1970s, is suffering from a chest infection. He has been told by his doctors that he is not well enough to perform.

All original tickets will remain valid for the new show on 10th September, at the Regent, and refunds will be available.

Gilbert said: "I am extremely sorry to have to postpone tomorrow's show in Ipswich ... I apologise for any inconvenience caused as the last thing I want to do is let you all down."
