Ipswich has it all this half-term

Published26th May 2016

There’s plenty to inspire, amaze and exhaust the kids this half-term! Ipswich Borough Council has once again put together a great programme of events at a variety of venues for children of all ages to enjoy.

Here is a glimpse into what’s going on in Ipswich over the half-term holiday.

Art Stinks: Create your own fragrant masterpieces at Ipswich Museum. Have a go at marbling paper and look at how our sense of smell affects how we navigate the world around us.

3-day Swimming Courses: For budding ducks and ducklings, these classes give children the opportunity to boost their confidence in the water whilst having fun.

Pondemonium: Go pond dipping at Holywells Park and find out about the amazing creatures that live in and around the pond. Free event, booking required.

There are also plenty of things the whole family can do together such as trampolining, rollerskating and a fantastic pool party.

Some activities need to be booked in advance, however many of them don’t. For full details of the programme go to www.ipswich.gov.uk/schoolholidays
