Ipswich Jazz Festival is back

Published12th April 2017

Ipswich’s programme of summer events just got a lot more exciting with the unveiling of headline acts for the town’s second jazz festival.

Organiser Neil Bateman promises another great mix of live music, film, dance, art and musicians’ workshops. “We are really looking forward to the summer and the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of local, national and international jazz artistes,” he said.

“We are presenting young up and coming musicians as well as more established and well-known stars. Together, they will deliver a fantastic celebration of all things jazz.”

Neil added: "Many of these events are free and, as a not-for-profit venture, we have kept our ticket prices as low as possible. In addition, people can get a discount if they buy tickets in advance.”

The Ipswich Jazz Festival is on from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th June at venues across town, including St Peter’s by the Waterfront, New Wolsey Theatre, DanceEast, Northgate Arts Centre and several pubs for the Sunday afternoon music sessions. Don’t miss it!
