National Moment of Reflection at Ipswich Town Hall for Queen Elizabeth II on Sunday 18 September at 8pm

Published16th September 2022

A national one minute silence, to pay our respects to Her Majesty the Queen will be observed on Sunday 18 September at 8pm. The Mayor of Ipswich, Cllr John Cook, will be observing the silence on the steps of Ipswich Town Hall and anyone who wishes to is invited to join him for this moment of reflection.

This is an opportunity for Ipswich to reflect on the life of Her Majesty the Queen, in remembrance and with gratitude for her decades of service to the country and the Commonwealth.

For those not wishing to come to Ipswich Town Hall steps, the silence can also be marked privately at home, out on doorsteps, at work, or wherever else you may be.
