Natural history but not as you know it!

Published14th March 2017

Join us on a journey into a surreal world of exotic, unearthly creatures and imaginary landscapes as Ipswich Museum’s Victorian Natural History Gallery is transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour, light, sound and animation.

As part of our After Dark season at Ipswich Museum, London-based creative studio SDNA will be using cutting edge technology to set up a series of small intricate spectacles and large-scale transformations, to display the Museum’s natural history exhibits in a completely different light.

This unique display of digital art is suitable for visitors of all ages and interests. Entry to the event on Saturday 25th March is FREE, so don’t miss the chance to see this one-off performance.

SDNA’s artists will be on site at the Museum in High Street between 10am and 5pm, setting up the projections for the evening performance, and will be happy to talk to visitors about what they are planning and what it means to be a digital artist.

The evening performance will take place between 6pm and 8pm. There will be a cash bar available during the performance.

This is a Happening on the High Street project supported by funding from Arts Council England.
