Published24th May 2023

A new programme for Ipswich businesses wanting to either start a business or expand is now available, supported by Ipswich Borough Council.

Aimed at local businesses established in the last year or those trying to get a new business idea from paper to reality – Start, Build and Grow is a free support programme by experts to help Ipswich businesses.

The dedicated two-year partnership programme involves the Business Growth Coaches Network, AMD Business Consultants, and the University of Suffolk.

Councillor Neil MacDonald, Ipswich Borough Council Leader, and Portfolio Holder for Economic Development, says:

“Want your new business to flourish? Start, Build and Grow offers focused support to help Ipswich businesses succeed in these tough economic times. Expert support to help your business grow includes individual coaching, access to workshops, training, and other resources plus membership of a Peer Group for local networking support.

We’re pleased to be able to provide this additional support for Ipswich businesses, thanks to Shared Prosperity Funding.”

Start, Build and Grow is receiving £27,500 this year from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
