A reminder to Ipswich residents not to throw out glass bottles in their black bins has been made today.
One of the Council's refuse crews reported that a higher proportion of bottles than normal was collected in black bins in the north west of the town.
A member of the recycling team explained: “Most homes in that area are within 500 metres of a glass recycling bank and we ask residents to use them or another recycling centre to dispose of their glass."
