Published15th August 2023

Local businesses, charities and community groups are being invited to apply to trade at the Ipswich Weekender festival at the Waterfront on 23 and 24 September.

The third weekender of the year will attract over 65,000 visitors to the Waterfront and promises to be packed with live music, fantastic food and drink, fairground rides and plenty of fun activities.

Ipswich Borough Council is welcoming applications from stallholders selling quality products such as arts and crafts, jewellery, fashion and accessories, toys, gifts, grocery and take-home food products. Applications are also welcomed from charities, community groups and not for profit organisations.

Applicants can apply for a pitch for the weekend as well as having the option to hire equipment from the Council.

Councillor Neil MacDonald, Ipswich Borough Council Leader, and Portfolio Holder for Place, says: “The Ipswich Weekender festival offers a fantastic opportunity to local businesses, charities, and communities. With over 65,000 people expected to attend, we are encouraging traders to apply early to avoid disappointment.”
