The Proclaimers are coming to Ipswich’s Regent Theatre later this year, it was announced today.
The famous Scottish twins, Craig and Charlie Reid, shot to fame with Letter From America but are still flying high 30 years later. They even inspired a musical, Sunshine on Leith, in 2013.
The 2018 UK tour follows a 150-date world tour two years ago, which began in Kelso and ended in San Diego. They will be releasing their 11th studio album in the spring.
The Proclaimers’ songs are timeless, capturing a gamut of human emotions, written with poignancy, emotional honesty, political fire and wit. Their iconic song, I’m Gonna Be, features at weddings, funerals and everything in-between.

The twins come to Ipswich on Thursday 29th November.
