Employers there on the day included Anglia Care Trust, Ann Mason Care, Home Instead and Gap Healthcare. Plus, Supreme Pet Foods, Driver Hire, Ipswich Community Media, East of England Co-op and Ipswich Town Football Club.

The British Army, Royal Navy, Suffolk Police, Suffolk Fire Service, local NHS and Mental Health Trust, Teach Group, St Elizabeth Hospice, Vertas Group, Ipswich Borough Council and Suffolk County Council were also present to advise of job opportunities.

Hays and Casanova Recruitment Solutions, Apprenticeship Suffolk, University of Suffolk, Suffolk New College, East Region Training, West Suffolk College and Realise Futures were on hand to offer course and job-seeking advice.

Councillor David Ellesmere, Leader of Ipswich Borough Council and Portfolio Holder for Economic Development and Property, says:

“It’s been great to work with East Anglia Jobcentre Plus again to host another very successful Jobs Fair in Ipswich town centre. We’ve seen good results for people who came looking for work and some really positive feedback from the employers and training companies who attended.”
