Parks in Ipswich will remain closed today (Tuesday 31st) due to hazardous wind conditions. The Cemeteries are also closed, however, the gates will be manned to allow all funerals to take place.
It is suggested that members of the public should avoid going to other parks and open spaces in the town that do not have gates and fences and therefore cannot be easily physically closed.
Christchurch Mansion is open today, visitors are asked to use the Bolton Lane entrance.
It is anticipated they will reopen tomorrow as normal.
The Council will issue further updates throughout the day.
