Published3rd July 2023

It’s Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) awareness week (3 - 9 July) and the Community Support team will be out in Ipswich talking to residents in the town centre and Ellenbrook area of the town this week.

On Tuesday 4 July, 10am to 3pm, Ipswich Community Safety Partnership - Ipswich Borough Council’s ASB team, Suffolk Police, and other partner agencies - will be on the Cornhill to talk to town centre visitors.

On Thursday 6 July 12 to 4pm, the team will be at Ellenbrook Green Shops in the Chantry area of Ipswich to talk to residents and offer support.

Councillor Neil MacDonald, Ipswich Borough Council Leader, says:

“We want to engage with our residents to encourage them to talk about any anti-social behaviour issues they may be having.

By working with our Community Safety Partners and the public we hope to encourage more people to report any ASB issues as well as giving advice and support to ensure our streets are safer for everyone in and around Ipswich.”

Report Anti-Social Behaviour in Ipswich, further advice for council tenants is available on the Ipswich Borough Council website.
