New for 2024

This year’s festival will be bigger than before, with the exciting addition of the Indian Summer Mela Stage near to the Fonnereau Road entrance of the park. Here you can enjoy a celebration of Indian culture with entertainment including singing, dancing as well as cooking and traditional garment demonstrations. Nearby street vendors will also be selling authentic Indian food.

This year the BBC Radio Suffolk Stage is changing location to the Bowl area of the park due to huge popularity and amazing performances. Featuring BBC Introducing artists and other upcoming local talent, it will be supported by a marketplace, food vendors and its own bar.

The new Rise Stage next to the playground, sponsored by Suffolk New College will be dedicated to rock and indie music.

Entertainment isn’t just limited to the park as classical music lovers can enjoy entertainment throughout the day in Bethesda Church, Christchurch Mansion, Masonic Hall, and St Margaret’s Church, all hosted by the Ipswich Arts Association.
