Ipswich will benefit from two additional Changing Places toilets thanks to a successful bid for £146,000 of Government funding by Ipswich Borough Council. These new toilets will be installed in Christchurch Park and in Orwell Country Park.

The owners of a block of flats - Saxon House in Cromwell Square, Ipswich - have been fined £10,000 plus costs for not complying with a Community Protection Notice (CPN) issued by Ipswich Borough Council which obligated both the clearing of a large amount of waste that had accumulated around the block as well as keeping the area clean in future.

A one-off rebate of £150 on energy costs will be paid by the government, through Ipswich Borough Council, to all eligible households in Council Tax Bands A, B, C and D. The Council Tax Energy Rebate will start to be paid from April after those households with Direct Debits make their first payment to the Council for their new (2022/23) Council Tax bill.
