We are currently streamlining our processes, which means when we collect your rent via Direct Debit it will have a new account reference. This does not change the way in which we collect Direct Debits. If you pay between 16th – 22nd of the month your October payment will be taken later than planned.

Note: If you registered before 29/8/18, you will need to re-register to use our recently updated version of MyAccount

Without registering you can:

  • Set up or amend your direct debit
  • Tell us if you are moving in or out of the area
  • If you are a landlord, tell us about tenancy changes
  • Search for a Council Tax band
  • Apply for discounts and exemptions

If you register an account, you can also:

  • Check your balance, see instalments due and payments received
  • Update your contact details
  • See bills
  • See reminders/summons issued
  • See any associated Council Tax Reduction claim information
  • See any associated Housing Benefit claim information

Business rate payers:

You will have received a business rates bill that shows the name of the ratepayer. If the ratepayer’s name on your business rates account contains an ampersand (&) you will not be able to use this online service. Please use an alternative method to contact us – email:- business.rates@ipswich.gov.uk or telephone:- 01473 433851

Housing Benefit claimants not liable for Council Tax:

You cannot view your benefit claim details unless you have a Council Tax account.
