National Apprenticeship Week 2024

You are here

Ipswich Borough Council are proud to support National Apprenticeship Week (NAW), 5 to 11 February 2024.

National Apprenticeship Week 2024

The week brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses, and the wider economy.

The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2024 is "Skills for Life"; reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills.

What will we be doing during NAW week:

  • Members of the IBC Apprenticeship team will join Suffolk ONE students in their Atrium to promote the power of Apprenticeships on Monday 5 February
  • Open Event at Ipswich Town Hall, Tuesday 6 February, 3.30pm
  • Members of the Apprenticeship team will be promoting IBC Apprenticeships as a way into work during the Job Centre careers fair at JobCentre+ in Silent Street
  • Please email IBCApprenticeships@ipswich.gov.uk to request further information by email.

Who should visit:

  • School / college leavers, parents, guardians, teachers, are all welcome, or are you looking for a career change, or getting back into the workplace after a career break – apprenticeships are perfect for you too.
